I'm a UK based outdoor enthusiast who's always on the lookout for that next great challenge. Never describing myself as an expert as there's always something new to learn (hello, trad climbing!), but I've been hiking consistently now for around 15 years and slowly but surely got involved into more advanced mountaineering like glacier travel and crevasse rescue. Always an outdoorsy kid, it took a backseat in my teenage years when priorities were oh so different. That was until I met a  guy who was really into the outdoors and all of a sudden I was back into that world. While my relationship didn't last, my love for the outdoors did. Since this second beginning I've increasingly got more confident in solo backpacking trips, wild camping and open water swimming. I've visited 20 countries so far and spent an amazing 6 weeks trekking through Tajikistan, but that's just the beginning!
